So this was one of the first decks I built as a casual teaching deck. Enchantments and Auras aren't typically expensive so this felt like a good starter deck. This is about a $25 budget friendly casual deck.
Let's start by introducing Calix, Destiny's Hand.
Calix, Destiny's Hand 4 Loyalty for 4 CMC is perfect. He is a straight forward Planeswalker, focusing only on enchantments overall.
His +1 lets you dig for more enchantments.
His -3 can be used right off which is always a plus. It is a unique effect that turns any enchantment you already control into a Banishing Light. You must have an enchantment on board of your own and it’s only able to hit other enchantments and creatures, but it’s a really great way to get extra use out of your own enchantments.
His -7 ultimate is essentially Replenish, which is powerful. However, he needs three turns to get there, and it negates using his his powerful -3 in the meantime. Not to mention Calix does not protect himself. But Replenish can be the way to end the game then and there.
Creatures
Alseid of Life's Bounty will probably see play first. He does have Lifelink but his main reason for being in the deck is to protect your other creatures and enchantments. His ability allows you to pay one colorless, sacrifice him and give target creature or enchantment you control protection from the color of your choice until end of turn. Now in an enchantment matters deck this is super valuable.
Paradise Druid taps for any color and has Hexproof as long as she's untapped.
Destiny Spinner makes it where creature and enchantment spells you control can't be countered. This is great for this deck. Her second ability lets you pay to turn a land into an X/X Elemental creature with trample and haste until end of turn, where X is the number of enchantments you control. This can create a pretty scary land creature.
Setessan Champion is a must have in this deck. Each time you cast an enchantment she gets +1/+1 and you get to draw a card. And she isn't Legendary. Card draw and a creature that grows. Combine that with putting enchantments on her also and she can become a large threat.
Siona, Captain of the Pyleas helps you dig for Aura spells and generate tokens when an Aura is attached to a creature. 1/1 chump blockers, gotta love em.
