Sideboard cleaned up again.
How do you guys feel about this stacking against a control deck? I feel like the only thing that I have going is the uncounterable ability of Genesis Hydra, and golgari charm for the board wipe protection. (ie Crux of Fate.)
I am however thinking of mainboarding Dragon Throne of Tarkir and maybe having a second copy just as a backup win condition, it may also just protect my mana dorks from burn spells.
Also considering adding Bow of Nylea into the mix to combo with all the shuffling that comes from Genesis Hydra and Primeval Titan.
I'd like to toss out a recommendation for Heroes' Bane. With the amount of mana ramp you have, he can get out of control very quickly. Though he lacks trample himself. I run him in a for fun, budget, green, mana ramp deck. That deck includes several ways to get him trample though. Waves of Green is the deck if you want to take a look.

Hmm, I do like the look of Heroes' Bane, but I'm slightly concerned about the mana cost required to get him to become an 8/8 (Am I reading it correctly?) especially since I don't really have a way to generate tokens on existing creatures with the exception of the two Solidarity of Heroes' cards (which I guess I may need more of.)
Now that I've said that though, I do suppose I can quickly power him up from 4 -> 8 -> 16 tokens within a turn if I pop Solidarity of Heroes together with his ability. Definitely in the maybe board, thanks! :D

Not a problem. Don't forget, if you have a card like Paragon of Eternal Wilds in play Heroes' Bane starts as a 5/5. His ramp is not based on his counters, but his power. Instead of 4 > 8 > 16, it would be 5 > 10 > 19 with your combo.
Pardon the length of this next part, but I have to share my best experience with him.
Opening Hand 3 Forest, 1 Elvish Mystic, 1 Whisperer of the Wilds, 1 Llanowar Elves, 1 Heroes' BaneTurn 1) Forest + Elvish MysticTurn 2) Forest + Whisperer of the Wilds + Llanowar Elves, here I drew Overwhelming StampedeTurn 3) Oran-Rief, the Vastwood + Ranger's PathTurn 4) Forest + Heroes' Bane and used Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to make him 5/5. Then doubled his counters to make him a 10/10. Turn 5)Next turn I played Overwhelming Stampede to make him a 20/20 trample and then doubled him again to become a 40/40 trample.
Given, this was a pretty damn ideal situation, but it was still awesome!

Wow, that formatting looks terrible. Here is a better attempt:
Opening Hand 3 Forest, 1 Elvish Mystic, 1 Whisperer of the Wilds, 1 Llanowar Elves, 1 Heroes' Bane
Turn 1) Forest + Elvish Mystic
Turn 2) Forest + Whisperer of the Wilds + Llanowar Elves, here I drew Overwhelming Stampede
Turn 3) Oran-Rief, the Vastwood + Ranger's Path
Turn 4) Forest + Heroes' Bane and used Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to make him 5/5. Then doubled his counters to make him a 10/10.
Turn 5)Next turn I played Overwhelming Stampede to make him a 20/20 trample and then doubled him again to become a 40/40 trample.

Ohhh damn, okay - that's pretty cool. I misread (it's late) and for some reason assumed that the activated ability was a monstrous ability! But you also mentioned a nice Overwhelming Stampede... I think I also need to consider that, if I'm doubling counters with Heroes' Bane and Solidarity of Heroes.

Glad to have been of assistance! Overwhelming Stampede is amazing and provides a very nice win con.

Great suggestions all around! I honestly didn't even know about Nature's Claim, what a bargain for 1cmc!
That hydra also looks great - would be excellent to pull out with Yisan, the Wanderer Bard unlike Genesis Hydra.
