FNM Gatecrash opening —Feb. 2, 2013

:: Round 1 :: lost 0-2, against bant control. Game 1, he laid Supreme Verdict on my three Deathrite Shamans and I was left with no creatures. He hit me with Thragtusk for the win. Game 2, he milled me to death with Nephalia Drownyard and Jace, Memory Adept. How do I have no land to cast spells, oh wait, it's all in my graveyard???

:: Round 2 :: won 2-0, against mono green ramp -- Game 1, he had mana dorks, I countered his Elvish Archdruid and finished up with Invisible Stalker and Forced Adaptation. Game 2, killed Somberwald Sage on turn 2 and another Sage on turn 3 so he couldn't drop Craterhoof Behemoth, I won with Increasing Savagery

:: Round 3 :: lost 0-1, against combo defender -- Game 1, he comboed into infinite mana with Axebane Guardian and Galvanic Alchemist. Then buffed his Ludevic's Test Subject  ^Flip like a fricken Buzz Lightyear. Game 2, we went to time, I laid my Invisible too late and kept misusing Deathrite by gaining life instead of lowering his. Will know better next time.

:: Round 4 :: won 2-1, against WBG tokens -- Game 1, I had all blue mana and all black removal ... lamesauce. He killed me easily with Lingering Souls and Midnight Haunting. Game 2, removed his blockers, swung in with Deathrite and a hardcast Blessings of Nature. Game 3, he got mana screwed, I removed his Bloodline Keeper  ^Flip, cast Increasing Savagery on the Deathrite and swung, then flashed it back on my Invisible next turn for the win.

DECK CHANGES: -1 AEtherize, -1 Shadow Slice, -1 Slitherhead
Too slow and too conditional. They were a burden to have in my hand. Also need to add another Pike.
