Hello! This is my take on a mono-black monument deck! Im trying to keep with a theme of getting the most out of dead creatures, while also having enough removal to control the field while we get set up(but I wouldnt really call this a control deck thoughtful).

One of the most important cards is Oathsworn Vampire, as getting the triggers from Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Bontu the Glorified, and Bontu's Monument can really churn out a win. However, you rarely want to play him on turn 2, as you really want him for the repeatable triggers. It would be noted though that you can only do this repeatedly reliably if you have Bontu or the Monument out.

Other than the vampire, I dont think any of the cards really need an explanation. Tetzimoc, Primal Death is a game finisher and Yahenni's Expertise is a great board wipe that works well with Bloodcrazed Paladin.

It is very well possible to put some green in this deck with cards like Journey to Eternity   and the way Rhonas the Indomitable works with Bontu.
