Inclusions:

1 mana Dorks

1 mana dorks, such as Llanowar Elves , allow you to be very explosive. They do a lot of work. Be prepared for them to die in the crossfire when someone plays a wrath, but by the time that happens you've already got your mana's worth out of them and probably dropped a couple other ramp spells that don't die.

Rampant Growth effects

2 mana land ramp is pretty solid. Although Signets and Talismans are most definitely better, as they can use the mana immediately, but that downside isn't often relevant in more casual games.

Notable Exclusions:

2 Mana Dorks

2 Mana dorks are strictly worse than signets, talismans, or Rampant Growth effects for the most part. Some, like Lotus Cobra , can generate several mana in a single turn, making them worth playing. However, for most 2 mana dorks, the cost of dying to the eventual wrath is too high.

Explosive Vegetation, Skyshroud Claim, etc

These are much slower than many other ramp spells. Cultivate and Worn Powerstone do the double ramp better, and they still easily budget cards.
