This deck is just flat out annoying. It focuses on stalling around until repeated small amounts of damage kills them.

This is not your conventional Counterburn Izzet deck, rather a stalling twist.

Let's look at the game plan:

Kick things off with a Frostburn Weird , and strike when necessary. Next, pull out your Nivix Cyclops. These should hold off the opponent for a while. Wall of Frost is another useful 3 drop. Turn 4 you're still doing your thing. Turn 5 you can drop a Prognostic Sphinx or a Stormbreath Dragon, and turn 6 will give you an AEtherling.

KOMBOS: Nivix Cyclops + Titan's Strength Makes the cyclops a powerful threat until end of turn.

Anger of the Gods + Curse of the Swine Curse of the Swine + Mizzium Mortars COTS is easily the best combo breaker card. Throw in a board wiper and your opponent's defenses are at zero.

I also just LOVE the irony of turning a God into a 2/2 Pig. In Soviet Russia, I guess.

So, your strategy is to wipe the board, then strike. Wash, rinse, and repeat.
