The goal of this deck is to put Clout of the Dominus on a red-blue flyer, or to play a Riverfall Mimic and a lot of red-blue spells to keep it boosted and unblockable. It can play an aggro early game, or it can play cautiously and use Izzet Charm, Ionize or Swerve to disrupt an opponent's plans. Role Reversal can steal a good creature from an opponent, and Protean Raider can copy one. Tome of the Guildpact provides some mid-game gas, and Wandering Mind hunts down Clout of the Dominus, the Tome, or at least a useful instant or sorcery.

Budget Divinity Rush is the Orzhov version of this deck, and Budget Overbeing is the Simic version.
