So I kiiiiinda realized that Ghostly Prison actually sorta conflicts with the deck's entire schtick because not being able to pay the Prison's fee prevents my opponent's creatures from attacking at all, regardless of if Im forcing them to with Rage Nimbus, Curse of the Nightly Hunt, or Akroan War.

The solution? I just replaced it with War's Toll. Waaaay simpler means of locking out my opponent's ability to pay the mana against Kazuul so I can actually get the Ogres I want.

Also Forbidden Orchard would be perfect if it wasn't so expensive. It not only fixes your mana without tapping or shocking you, but it also gives your opponent dinky little spirits to slam into Kazuul with. I recommend at least one in the main deck, but you can add more in the sideboard for the noncreature matchups if you're willing to spend 60 more bucks.

Also also, Reprobation is a great removal spell for the deck because it's not only cheap, but it also makes your opponent's creatures useless without necessarily preventing them from attacking, unlike more conventional enchantments of its kind like Pacifism or Oppressive Rays

Also also also, try and find room for Idyllic Tutor or, if you can afford it, Enlightened Tutor, because they dramatically boost the deck's overall consistency.

Search for Glory is also great for tutoring Kazuul, Mila, Redaine, or the Akroan War.

Fun looking deck! I have a kind of long list of suggestions for you. Some of them are specifically suggested to deal with your draw problem, but not all of them. I will say that I wouldn't expect that you would try to fit all of these in here, and I'm also shyt at telling anyone what to cut from their own deck. So I'll drop this list here and let you make of it what you will.

Really appreciate these suggestions. Isn't Varchild's War-Riders not legal in Modern, though? I mean, if it is, then it'd be perfect for the deck.

I was thinking of including the Birth of Meletis, but because Strict Proctor counters permanent ETB abilities, I decided to use Timeless Dragon as my means of land tutoring.

Oh, you're correct. Same with Skullclamp . Drat. I've been playing for a really long time, and I forget these things. That's why I almost always play casual rather than trying to keep up with Modern legality, haha.

Well, I was thinking anyway that Mangara and Court of Grace would be the best option for drawing cards, and Alliance of Arms is an awesome Force-Feed option. Also, Michiko Konda is an absolute bad-ass for your theme. The others listed are mostly just for additional options.

I think Court of Grace is actually very interesting given how it gives my opponent an incentive to try and attack me and become the Monarch, in turn playing into the whole theme of the deck.

Gonna see what I can cut to make this work.

Haha it's cool lol. Your suggestions actually made me look into more viable additions to the deck anyway. Found out about stuff like Rage Nimbus and Curse of the Nightly Hunt , cards that I wouldn't have otherwise knew existed.
