And This Is Jackass (BU Modern Faerie/Rogue)

Modern Control Faeries UB (Dimir)

introvertigo

Sideboard

Faeries and rogues.

Use Nightshade Stinger or Prickly Boggart on turn 1 so that you can Prowl yourself a Stinkdrinker Bandit, a Morsel Theft or a Thieves' Fortune on turn 2. You also have Oona's Prowler and Inkfathom Infiltrator as two drops, both pretty much guaranteed to deal damage as a rogue. Scion of Oona is a powerful card that enables you to stabilize your position very quickly.

Should your opponent survive the early-game onslaught, you can finish him/her by casting Notorious Throng. The Prowl bonus is insane, enabling you to take an extra turn, but even without that bonus, Notorious Throng can prove to be a devastating card, especially when used in conjunction with Stinkdrinker Bandit and/or Scion of Oona .

Removed all the Mana Leaks. They just seem to clutter my flow. In their place I've put 4x Oona's Prowler. It fits better with the overall aggressiveness of the deck, has just the right creature type (Faerie and Rogue) and even compensates for the removed Mana Leaks by making Spellstutter Sprite able to counter spells of higher cmc. It also makes Secluded Glen much more reliable.

One problem with this deck is that sometimes you cannot get a certain creature type when situation warrants it. For example, you may have non-rogue fairies in play and cards with Prowl costs in hand. Or, you have plenty of rogues but you could need a fairy to counter a spell with Spellstutter Sprite or to have a Secluded Glen enter the battlefield untapped. This is where Wings of Velis Vel comes in. Not only does it provide a great deal of interchangeability to this deck, it's also a pretty decent buff that grants extra power and evasion, which is just what one might need when he/she has drawn that Prickly Boggart when playing against a black/artifact deck. To make room for 2x Wings of Velis Vel, I've decided to drop 1x Notorious Throng and 1x Thieves' Fortune. In my opinion, both of these cards are pretty good, but Notorious Throng is a finisher and not something you'll need to rely on and I think this deck can manage itself with one Thieves' Fortune less.
