Adventures of the Forgotten Realms DnD Game:

4 main characters of the AFR set embark on an epic MTG/DnD hybrid campaign.

Players create their own character sheet as one of the main characters provided. The game plays exactly like DnD but with a MTG twist.

-“Adventure Cards” to help progress the story. Adventure Cards are separated into 2 acts for a more cohesive story. The DM has a backstory, event and/or challenge for each Adventure Card. New Adventure Card drawn by DM after an adventure has been played out? Still need to figure out how this becomes a seamless story/adventure.

-Each character starts with a set of “Spells” that can be used as buffs during combat at instant speed. Cards are not read word for word, if somewhere on a card is a buff or relevant ability, that part of the card is what is used. Cards are only active until end of turn and are exiled after they have been cast.

-Weapons Pile to be drawn when the party reaches “Choose your Weapon”.

-Nat 20 Bonus Pile is drawn by a player when they roll a Nat 20. The card is added to their hand.

-Vecna being the endgame boss.

Any and all ideas welcome!
