This is a deck that I LOOSELY based on the Izzet side of the Izzet vs Golgari Duel Deck. I had purchased the duel deck in order to get a Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind card, and I thoroughly modified the deck to move toward a different strategy.

Here's the skinny: The deck plays to hopefully trap your opponent in a long string of direct damage while also throwing creature cards out onto the battlefield that inflate as your hand-size increases. Drawing cards and unlimited hand-size play an integral role in this deck.

I have had some moderate success with this deck, but it seems like some of the strategy is a bit lofty. The concept is sound, but some of the cards play too slowly to garner the proper effect. Any suggestions to help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
