This is a cheap modern version of the drake decks that were popular during Ravnica standard. The goal is to play lots of cheap control spells to buff Pteramander , Enigma Drake , and Crackling Drake . Negate protects, Unsummon gives you tempo, Shock adds direct damage, and Titan's Strength provides combat tricks. Opt , Winged Words , and Crackling Drake draw cards. Opt , Titan's Strength , and Spite of Mogis scry. ( Spite of Mogis is just sick in this deck - you'll usually be doing 4 or 5 damage on turn 3 and scrying for just one mana.)

If you've got a couple of extra bucks, replace Shock with Skewer the Critics or Lightning Bolt , Negate with Spell Pierce or Dispel , and add in a few more draw cards like Magmatic Insight or Faithless Looting (if you're just playing casually). If you want another drake to fill out your curve, consider Cerulean Drake .
