This is a fun heroic monoblack aggro/devotion that can get fast wins, and sometimes hold out for the long game. Quality one drops like Gnarled Scarhide, and Tormented Hero can get early damage in, especially if [cruel feeding]] can trigger the heroic from the hero, gaining life as well. [[boon of erebos] is nice simply because of regeneration which a lot of removal doesn't worry about any more short of abrupt decay or rapid hybridization.

Thrill-Kill Assassin is a solid 2 drop for offense that is hard to get rid of, or defense to make opponents think twice before rushing in to deathtouch. Agent of the Fates is another strong heroic that gets around from hexproof for both creatures and players thanks to things like aegis of the gods.

There is a nice balance of removal, andWhip of Erebos is great for doing work with both lifelink and graveyard whipping. Liliana of the Dark Realms can be useful for land fetching to thin the deck, or killing off other creatures or gods by giving them -X/-X.

The sideboard is decent for most metagames. Duress against burn or control, Pithing Needle goes in just about all of my sideboards. Tenacious Dead is a favorite of mine for shutting down desecration demon, as it can continually come back for a measily 1B. Devour Flesh is sometimes needed if there is not enough hate or removal against some decks, and can also be used ton my own creatures if I need the life.
