Sliver Armageddon is a simple deck that relies on your being able to drop Armageddon as early as possible to remove your opponents chances of having enough manna to get to their end state. Since we have Crucible of Worlds and manna source slivers we aren't worried about losing our lands, good for us. Since its legacy there is a good chance your opponent is going to play a lot of the "Mox" artifacts to use as land sources. In response we have Harmonic Sliver, this will help us nuke his artifact land sources and stay a head of the manna curve.
