Super Budget deck, going infinite with Battered Golem, Retraction Helix (or Banishing Knack ) and any 0-drop artifact. Briber's Purse , Astral Cornucopia, Tormod's Crypt all work. Capitalize on it with Altar of the Brood (infinite mill) or Reckless Fireweaver (infinite pings). You have Peek and Fleeting Distraction to help you stay alive and cantrip for cheap.

Mulligans: You want at least one combo piece, but if you don't have 2/3 in your seven, go to six.

In the sideboard, Expedite is another cantrip that also gives you a little more speed, if you're late in drawing the Golem, while Annul gives you an out against Stony Silence. The rest of the board is lands, so that you can fine-tune the color balance when you board out.

Just kidding. It's because basic lands are very cheap.

If I were to spend a little bit more on this deck, Serum Visions would be a good addition, as would Welding Jar to either help draw the combo faster or help protect it.
