sam171z Thanks for the upvote!

The deck won't really work because Food Chain is banned in Duel Commander, and this deck is categorized as a Korvold Food Chain deck, even though there are other ways to win.

You can still pull off many of the combos using Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth or Cloudstone Curio + Dockside Extortionist + a creature card, but those don't win on the spot unless your opponent has at least 5 enchantments/artifacts. Seeing as many of the mana rocks are banned, I don't know how often that happens in Duel Commander.

As Gaea's Cradle is banned, the Titania, Protector of Argoth win condition is also more difficult to pull off.

Without knowing more of the Duel Commander meta, I'd say that none of the The Korvold Food Chain decks, including this Lands-matter version, will work in Duel Commander.

the_ouroboros sorry for not having a primer, this was a conceptual brew and takes a back seat to my Buried Alive Korvold Combos list, so I haven't taken the time to flesh it out any yet. The list has a few different means of winning. Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth is almost always plan A in Korvold, but we have also taken a path with this list that allows us to manually storm off while Aetherflux Reservoir is in play, or achieve infinite etbs/sacs and deaths/storm with Mortuary + Wild Cantor Skirk Prospector or Blood Pet whilst Korvold, Fae-Cursed King is in play, allowing us to win through Reservoir, Mayhem Devil Grapeshot Or Impact Tremors . There is a lot more fleshed out information in the

cgomes, yeah it's to grab Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth , and I'm debating adding back Bomberman combo, so an additional hulk pile could go like Auriok Salvagers and Goblin Engineer . I'm still toying with the idea, and this list isn't really set in stone yet.

And yeah, it was fun yesterday for sure. I haven't got to fully test it yet, but Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth is so incredibly busted in this deck.

It doesn't win the game, but this combo nets you infinite colored mana most of the time -

Hello! I've been researching some Marath decks, (currently working on my own), and yours is by far the most interesting one I've seen. I'm curious, how well does it preform? What's your meta like? How consistent can you stall the game out and win?

In my build I decided to go for a Hulk approach, using Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth as the grabs or Auriok Salvagers + Goblin Engineer to tutor Lion's Eye Diamond . Basically just two combos to get infinite mana and deal direct damage with Marath. I haven't got to test it really, been playing other decks.

Hello! So I've been working on a Marath deck, and took mine more towards a Hulk package with Auriok Salvagers + Goblin Engineer , tutor out Lion's Eye Diamond for win. And/or back up win with Dockside Extortionist + Temur Sabertooth . Do you think being full blown combo hurts the consistency of Marath, and does better as a stax build? Cause I tried the blood pod approach and found I didn't like it very much.
