Struggle for Sanity
Sorcery
Target opponent reveals his or her hand. That player sets aside a card from it, then you set aside a card from it. Repeat this process until all cards in that hand have been set aside. That player returns the cards he or she set aside to his or her hand and puts the rest into his or her graveyard.

I'm not sure Gauntlet of Power or Invoke Despair are necessary.
Cards like Thoughtseize, Ostracize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Harsh Scrutiny, etc. are pretty good with Tergrid s well.
Also, Memory Jar, dear god.
Reality Smasher, Street Wraith, Struggle for Sanity and Wit's End are also possible inclusions, as are Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual.

Very flavourful indeed. I unfortunately have no such flavourful suggestions, but Struggle for Sanity is a fun little minigame to rip apart big hands.

Speaking of Shackles ...
A friend of mine just got married! Him and his partner were kind of a Wild Pair, but they had a Chance Encounter at this music Festival and the next thing you know he's taking this Daring Leap. They had a cool ceremony, with the whole Carpet of Flowers, Beloved Chaplain, Pledge of Loyalty, Soul Kiss, and everything.
Man, I hope it works for them! For so many folks, what starts as a Utopia Vow ends up an Infernal Contract ... or maybe an Eternity Snare, complete with Shared Animosity and a Struggle for Sanity.
I think they're gonna be good though. Seems like they have a real Strength of Unity and a decent shot at Kindleing an Eternal Flame ...
