Need suggestions for an Ultimatum Tribal deck.

So I recently got the idea for an Ultimatum Tribal deck revolving on casting Brilliant Ultimatum early on, and reapting the play as often as possible, hitting a bunch of other Ultimatums and eventually killing the opponents board, life and hand with a couple of Cruel Ultimatums my initial plan was to use a Panoptic Mirror and Swarm Intelligence to fire off a bunch of Ults everyturn, and use cards like Elixir of Imortality to keep my opponents in the fire, but I am struggling to find a good shell for the combo, so can I have some suggestions and help. The deck is meant to be fun to play and be interactive as much as possible till it fires off the engine. Also, I would like it to be able to play at FNMs and other events, so please help with ideas.

My suggestion to you is to make this deck blue.

Play play sets of pila-pala, Grand Architect, Mycosynth Golem and Mycosynth Lattice. - that's probably the best way to get enough mana out fast enough to make this work. But it's also expensive as all get out, so the next option is to play cards like Kraken Hatchling Yoked Ox Wall of Fog - then I would run cards like Sprouting Thrinax Captured Sunlight and basically anything else that has "cascade." Then play cards like Oracle of Bones anything that can get you a card for free is good.

Cause honestly the ultimatum cards are too expensive to be used regularly.

As it is, I am skeptical about how competitive this deck will be. Brilliant Ultimatum is an expensive-to-cast card, and you listed a number of other cards with high converted mana costs.

That said, I am a recalcitrant Johnny, and love decks with unusual, never-before-seen win conditions, so I would love to help! It would be helpful if you could post a decklist (if you have one) that you are working on, so that suggestions can be more tailored to your existing ideas.

What type of deck do you enjoy playing?

My initial thought would be to have several wraths in your deck. Cards like Supreme Verdict are quite powerful in slower decks, as they can rest your opponets' boardstate and equalize things. You could try to cheat out a card like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, which will make your own creatures immune to any free wrath effects you can fire off using Brilliant Ultimatum.

I'll try to follow this, and give you more useful advice as your deck develops!

Living Lore, Oracle of Bones, combined with cheap rattlesnake cards to keep you alive until Lore drops. Check out Living Ultimatum for a decklist.

landofMordor living lore looks like a great idea. A 7/7 t4 is good to put up some pressure, and I will probably run some unblockable shenanigans to help help it connect. The oracle is aslo good if you're opponent does not know what he's up against.

cdkime I like the idea of including wraths, but I don't really want a control deck. Will probably have some cheap ones to help with aggro.

You could be a combo deck. If you play Spellweaver Helix and exile an ultimatum and Raven's Crime you can keep casting that Ultimatium using your land cards.

Never thought of trying to sculpt my deck to find titans, or Blightsteel Colossus
