What is the most mediocre card?

I mean, we have all heard about the best card and the worst card, but what is a card the most average card?
My vote goes out for Zombie Goliath . 5 mana for a 4/3 is not good, but it is not horrible either

Are we talking constructed, limited, or somewhere in between? Because vanilla creatures with decent stats are fairly strong in limited.

You could go for either. In my case I was talking about in constructed, but you can talk about whatever you want and in any format

On a serious note there are so many average cards but I guess I will go with Giant Spider

At least Zombie Goliath can survive 2 damage, but the Cadet dies immediately.

Welkin Tern . Limited powerhouse, cheap flying, no one really cares. Really an "I have a blue bomb so why not turn two evasion late in the draft" kind of card.

I would suggest something like Hythonia the Cruel . It's a decent body with a nice ability, but it's steep mana cost and a fact that it doesn't have any evasion whatsoever, makes it a decent card, but nothing I would really consider outside of Limited.

Black Lotus .... sure the mana is nice, but it's a one shot deal.
All joking aside, I would have to agree with Grizzly Bears for creature.
Murder for Instant.
Earthquake / Hurricane for Sorcery.
AEther Storm for Enchantment.
Artifacts are a hard choice... even the bad ones often have a way of being a part of a combo.
I would have to say Pithing Needle
, as it doesn't combo easily, is useful, but can easily just be a dead card... putting to to a commonly side boarded average card.

Lava Axe . Its so overprinted, you'd have to collect a dump truck full and set the whole pile on fire to increase their value. But then again, I guess they'd just print more.

even TNN cant block the unstoppable Storm Crow so hes way past average.
Pithing Needle i think is a really good choice since like above, its useful, but not a 4 of, it can be a dead card, or an amazing card, and it actually sees play which i think would be a requirement
Syncopate can be good or bad, its not always the card you want, but turn 2 great counter vs aggro
Izzet Charm is a card ive never wanted to have but never complained about drawing

@ TitansFTW I WOULD NEVER SAY LORD CROW WAS AVERAGE! I was saying that Giant Spider is average and branding Westron for treason against Lord Crow. :S

I'm voting for Grizzly Bears /Glory Seeker /Walking Corpse here. It isn't a bad creature but it also isn't likely to make it into the 75+ either. :P
