Ideas needed for casual mono-black deck.

Im looking to build a mono-black deck that works well with my play style of not being an aggressive attacker. I want to try to stay standard legal even though the deck is purely casual, simply to keep the cards easy to get my hands on without being too costly but not a must. Im open to any ideas, just looking to build a new deck to play around with.

In mono black i will always recommend Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and it suits the way of not being an aggresive attacker. It's not standard legal, but legal in modern and it's cheap to get your hands on.

Mono black casual tribal rats is a great time. I have one and its one of my most consistent decks. Also not all that expensive really. I think it's fun. You should check mine out (not sure how to add my deck though)

Hey, in Standard midrange is an option:
Mono-black is better with an aggro strategy, but if you don't like playing that way try midrange/control.
