Which bg combo do u prefer? Edh

So there are 2 infamous BG infinite combos.
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion
And the graveyard Phyrexian Devourer , Triskelion and field Necrotic Ooze
Which do you prefer and why? What deck?
I was thinking of adding one to a meren deck of mine so would like thoughts ^.^
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , Viscera Seer and Walking Ballista . It's better than Mike and trike and can be deployed by Protean Hulk with the help of Phyrexian Delver .

I would say the first. Although the necrotic ooze combo works, it's less consistent and necrotic ooze could end up being sacrificed using it.
Also, if you are playing , you probably also want to include enpc's combo. It's the same number of cards, but also searchable for using Protean Hulk . Which gets even worse if you're playing and can use Flash

Necrotic Ooze doesn't get triggered abilities and the eratta on Phyrexian Devourer has the activated ability phrased as "Exile the top card of your library: Put X +1/+1 counters on Phyrexian Devourer, where X is the exiled card’s converted mana cost."

I like the second one because it can be assembled with fewer pieces. If you have any of the 40 different ways to reanimate creatures, you can set it up with a simple Buried Alive .

Well if we are tutoring then you can entwine Tooth and Nail for Mike and trike

Or get mike and trike off of Protean Hulk (costs 14 life and requires Phyrexian Delver also be in the deck).
Or get mike and trike from Defense of the Heart

So far the general consensus seems that the ooze combo is a bit outdated and dragile compared to mike+trike or the protean hulk upgrade.

Protean Hulk can get Walking Ballista and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed so Protean Hulk is on a whole nother level of power and combo

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion
For three main reasons. Mikaeus is just so useful outside the combo; two card instead of three; not reliant upon having cards in your library.
