Ultra-Budget - Pact of Triskaidekaphobia

Casual

ruy343

Sideboard

The goal here is to play Triskaidekaphobia as competitively as possible by including a lot of low-damage effects that whittle the opponent down to exactly 13 life. The core of this plan is Spear Spewer and Thermo-Alchemist , which can damage the opponent at will (i.e. no combat required), and serve as blockers to keep us alive in dire straits. If/when those die, Languish can serve as a safety valve to keep us alive against swarms of enemies, enabling us to bring our battery of enchantments, instants, and sorceries to bear.

There is an alternate win condition included in this deck in case things don't work out. Demonic Pact can be played safely (since we're aiming to close out at turn 5), but if it doesn't work out, drawing a copy of Harmless Offering could give you an auto-win if you manage to land it. This deck usually wins by turn 7 (barring interference, obviously); occasionally winning on Turn 5.

This deck is intended to be fun to play, while still effective in its own way. if you have suggestions for how to develop it in that direction (while maintaining a strict budget), let me know!
