Topping the food pyramid

Standard Aggro Ramp RG (Gruul)

Sideboard

Food has been at a low-point since the banning of Oko, Thief of Crowns , but there are still powerful food cards out there, and only the sacrifice decks are taking advantage of this. Why should they steal all our fun?? This deck uses a combination of food synergies, ramp, and general aggressiveness. There is a weakness here with interaction, particularly against the more non-creature-based decks (I'm looking at Fires here), but I feel many more interactive cards would not only be hard to find, but slow down our aggro and replace some valuable cards. Instead, we have fight spells from our Domris and Wicked Wolf , and a semi- Shock in Bonecrusher Giant .

  • The heart of our ramp is Gilded Goose , allowing us to get a turn two Domri, Anarch of Bolas if we get the right hand. Domri also helps ramp (both of them), and gives us bonuses on top of that.
  • Nissa, Who Shakes the World has been busted for the past few months, and in this deck she is no different. She gives us more mana to help get our larger creatures out (and to fuel Trail of Crumbs and our other mana-using abilities), and a 3/3 every turn.
  • Bonecrusher Giant is a shock, some of our only non-fight interaction, and a curve-filling three-drop that gets a large creature that's painful to interact with.
  • Embercleave has been a staple of aggro since the first Mythic Championship that included Throne of Eldraine, and in this deck we can use it to get in extra damage unexpectedly (especially good on a Feasting Troll King )
  • I don't know why Gingerbrute isn't used in more food decks, but he fits our bill here! He's food, he's a 1/1 haste for 1 mana, he has psuedo-unblockability, and did I mention he's food?
  • Feasting Troll King is a strong curve-topper, that can come back if we have sufficient food, and even without that he's a big creature that gives us food! A great target for our fight spells.
  • Fierce Witchstalker is more general value here, but a 4/4 trample + food for four mana isn't bad, especially if he gets buffed by a riot or two.
  • Trail of Crumbs is a massive card advantage-getter when we have cards out that let us sac food, especially given the ramp in this deck. I don't think this card needs much more explanation to anyone who's paid attention to Mythic Championship VII, or who's seen a sacrifice deck.
  • Wicked Wolf is more fight, and he's hard to interact with because we can give him indestructible for a turn at instant-speed.

I'm looking for more sideboard options, as what I have now isn't great. I'd prefer things that keep our aggro, and don't make us reactive. I may be persuaded to make a sideboarding guide for this if I get those good options.
