This deck focuses on using cypher to extort opponents. It also has the possible combo of Vizkopa Guildmage and Exquisite Blood for an infinite life drain. Blind Obedience is included to slow the opponent, as well as counter haste and it has extort. Crypt Ghast is used for mana acceleration and extort.

In the Sideboard, Blood Reckoning is included in case I duel a Boros or a Selesnya deck. Illness in the Ranks is specifically included to oppose Selesnya decks, and Thrull Parasite is included to oppose Simic, Golgari or Rakdos decks.
