This is an alternate version of my other deck that is based on the combination of first strike and deathtouch.

The general philosophy is that any creature with First strike and Deathtouch can kill anything under normal circumstances. Since most of the creatures in this deck have very low cost you will usually come out on top in a 1 to 1. When first strike is established with Archetype of Courage and Ainok Bond-Kin then you can push aggressively and leave at least 1 deatchtoucher to block.
Ainok Bond-Kin enables first strike and Phalanx Leader and Feat of Resistance apply counters on creatures.
Soul of Innistrad exists in the other deck as a way to replenish the deathtouch weenies but Athreos, God of Passage is far more effective or becomes a terminal problem immediately.
The instants in this deck are far more defensive which allow you to survive target removal.
