Taking the normal Pauper Delver list in a different direction. I pulled the basis of this list from mtggoldfish.com, user tundrawolf24. Thanks for the initial list that I then edited to create a different style of tempo deck.

The general idea behind this deck is to use mana denial as an alternate form of generating tempo. We still see the normal creature package, as well as the base card filter and card draw spells, but now we have a mana denial package of 4x Boomerang and 4x Hoodwink. Legacy delver decks employ this strategy quite well, using Stifle as a mana denial technique (as well as some other random applications). Here we can't use cards on quite the same power level as Stifle, but we have access to other cards that provide the mana denial and can also function in other ways. Boomerang can be used to get blockers out of the way, as well as bouncing an annoying artifact or enchantment.

I will also say that I have not tested this build of the deck, nor have I given any thought to the sideboard. I was just struck by the inspiration (I'm actually typing this at work) and wanted to throw together a basic list. I have no idea if it's good or if it's a waste of time. If anyone reading this is interested though, I would like to hear feedback on how it works out.
