This is an aggressive black/green deck that relies on creatures with a variety of powerful abilities that hits hard and then can cast a
Soulflayer
to combine those abilities into a single formidable creature to finish off my opponent.
The deck will look to make a quick start out of the gate with powerful black and green creatures.
Rakshasa Deathdealer
and
Lotleth Troll
are two examples, resilient threats with abilities that can enhance their power and toughness.

can get cards into my graveyard to delve away to cast
Soulflayer
.
I've made sure to include a wide variety of abilities for
Soulflayer
to take on.
Gladecover Scout
can give it hexproof,
Lotleth Troll
can give it trample, as well as get cards into my graveyard to delve. It can get haste from
Dreg Mangler
, or I can just scavenge it to make my
Soulflayer
or another creature bigger. Some of my creatures can grant it multiple abilities, like
Gurmag Swiftwing
(flying, haste, and first strike),
Vampire Nighthawk
(flying, deathtouch, and lifelink), and
Darksteel Sentinel
(vigilance and indestructible).
As for possible improvements, aside from getting my hands on more Soulflayers, I'm also interested in good creatures with abilities copyable with
Soulflayer
, especially creatures with multiple ones. I'm also wondering if the three
Putrefy
will be enough removal, and if not, what to cut to include more.
