Is sage of hours still viable in standard? Does soulbond have what it takes to get multiple free turns?

With the hero of iroas and a few ordeals, I plan to get a few free turns out if my good buddy sage of hours.. Soulbond blows +1/+1 counters out of the water if you have lifelink, and ordeal of Helios gives a nice chunk. If the sage isn't available for an ordeal or soulbond, there's always seeker of the way for prowess and life link.

But what about removal? Well, I'm hoping a well placed glint or valorous stance will keep the sage/seeker indestructible or hexproof long enough to get some counters built up and my life to an intimidating amount. V.stance also helps with removing any creatures of the stronger variety.
