Hey guys A little backstory behind this deck, during the War of the spark launch I went to a ITC and took the mardu aristocrats deck with hero, the proceeded to play RDW for 7 straight rounds

Needless to say, I had a bad time but it gave me valueable insight about what the deck actually needed. Enter Eldrane and oven combo. This was a reliable way to abuse Mayhem Devil, and I tried Tithe Taker and more afterlife to get off my combos, but it still felt like I was missing something. Now theros came in with our lord and savior vessera seer....I mean Woe Strider. This dude is a power house. 3 mana is really important for this deck so I had to make tough calls on not including Judith, the Scourge Diva like I did in my original list. I’ve seen some Jund Decks that play like this but it feels like going all in on Mayhem Devil and popping off with oven combo and escaping Woe Strider is just more reliable. The other variant I’ve see is Orzov and they play Cruel Celebrant. This is very inciting and might end up playing both versions and seeing which one I like.

Nightmare Shepard:

I really like this guy, but I don’t know if he is better than Rankle, Master of Pranks I think him being a 4/4 is important and he gives access to using your mayhem devil as a sac target and still the ability

Blood Aspirant:

Can get really out of control but dies to every kind of removal. Kind of a big dumb animal. His ability is pretty useless but could work if you just need to connect with a deadhorde butcher or shoot a 1/1

Give me some feedback on what you think of it My sideboard isn’t complete but I really like Tibalt, Rakish Instigator to deal with the Mono white decks and even adventure decks
