Comment sweep.

I would diffidently put in Sheoldred, since you got sac as an underline theme you can do a really good combo with Butcher of Malakir + Fleshbag Marauder + Sheoldred, Whispering One , that's 2 creatures on your turn and 1 creature on theirs, every turn, its a combo I use in one of my decks, granted I use Slum Reaper but I been meaning to change out Slum for Fleshbag.

I have one but I don't know what to remove for it.

I can understand that. When you find a good balance for your deck its easy to want to add something new but hard to take something away.

Playtested this against a mono-white Darian deck and had a bit of fun.I have to say, the urborg tomb of yawgmoth + extraplanar lense combo seems like a great idea at first- until i realised that since i had turned all my opponents lands into swamps, the effect applies to them too, and you've just smashed the game along into late game on turn 3. Terrifying, and perhaps not cost effective, but holy shit, a good bit of devil's play for commander. B'yeah, depending on your aims, i'd suggest removing tomb of yawgmoth (your deck is mono-black anyway, so it's not really needed, and the extraplanar lense is dangerous to you if you have tomb of yawgmoth out)- unless you actually want to suddenly drop late game on everyone just for the cackles- that's pretty good too....actually, wow, it could be awesome if you do it right. Their response to having all this mana will likely be to drop everything as quickly as possible, opening them up for one of your brutal board clears and then decree of pain-ing all over that, leaving you with a few turns of free reign. If you planned this, you're a genius.

Enchantments are indeed an issue though, if they can drop a good 'everything is weak now' (e.g. humility) card, it's really hard to recover from. Spine of Ish Sah is a good artifiact for removing any such threats.B'yeah, this deck is insane. such an awesome capacity for token generation. It looks like a lot of fun.

Why on earth did you remove sensei top? It's one of the best cards in the format. Necropotence too?

@ChiefBell Top was not worth it's slot. I honestly think it's an overrated card. it wasn't doing enough work. I'll intend to pick up a Necropotence soon.

Did you know the trick to draw a card and then bury senseis top so you don't waste a draw the next turn? That's how you really use it.

it's okay. It wasn't worth the spot. I can see how its a good card but I think it's overhyped.

Zombie/ Ghoul/ Sacrifice themed? Mikaeus, the Unhallowed sounds like it would be perfect for you. Get all the value out of your sacrifices!

Also, though not a zombie Erebos, God of the Dead is just a solid black card. He's an indestructible Greed on a turn-on-able stick that prevents your opponents from gaining life. Hard to find better value out of a 4-drop!

Anyway, +1! Like the deck and what you're doing with it!

Thanks for the upvote. Erebos is good but I don't think he's worth the slot. I'd only be using him for draw, and compared to Necropotence , he's lackluster.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is a beast in any sac deck other than mine. 82% of the time I'm sacing Zombie tokens, and not something that can un-die. On top of that he can't save either of the two thing I want, once killed: Ghoulcaller Gisa herself, or my Eldrazi Monument .

I hope you understand why I won't be including your suggestions. In any event, thanks for commenting.

That's fair. I can certainly understand not including Erebos.

Though I respect you decision, I think Mikaeus would still be incredibly overpowered in this deck, just for the fact that you have a sac outlet. You could sacrifice bigger, juicier targets with Ghoulcaller Gisa , and still have them yourself, get so much more value out of Fleshbag Marauder , Kokusho, the Evening Star , Grave Titan , Solemn Simulacrum , Puppeteer Clique (creating an infinite combo if you have an unconditional sac outlet, if you're into that kind of thing), Burnished Hart , etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. He's not necessarily in there to "save" your creatures, but to get more value out of them. Just because he's not strictly "Mikaeus, the Infinite Combo" in your deck doesn't mean he's not still rediculously overpowered.

Note that when undying happens, the creature affected does in fact enter the graveyard, and does in fact die.

But either way, the deck is still sweet!

Okay, you have a fair point. If I do eventually add him I'll have to add to the description, because I refuse to run the infinite combo with Triskelion I know already that people are going to flood the suggestions section with it. Triskelion just isn't good enough on it's own and without Tooth and Nail it's hard getting them both out.

Yeah, I personally am against infinite combos in EDH. I feel like this is the "right" deck to run Mikaeus in. It's not strictly win the game, but it's very very good in a not completely unfair way. The only thing you'll need to watch out for with him is if you gain control of your opponents creatures with him waith It That Betrays or other effects you may have access to, since undying returns them to the battlefield under their owners control. However, if you manage to make them sac it again, you would just get it right back haha.

@KieranBevan the anime is Tokyo ghoul. I enjoyed it up until the end...(the end was dumb) but from what I hear, the anime is shit compared to the manga.

Conspiracy up the zombie count

CuteSnail says... #18

@CricketYT Not only would I have to find a card to remove, but the deck isn't tribal enough to warrant adding Conspiracy .

CricketYT says... #19

You run a bunch of tribal cards! Just cut Burnished Hart as it's pretty bad, you hardly need ramp anyway
