First draft of this somewhat spicy conflation of "The Gate" and "Demon Stompy" decks out there. I want to utilize mono-black's extreme speed to get ahead and disrupt my opponent's start to their game.

After testing it a little, there are certainly good hands to draw into but it feels like it doesn't have enough gas to win consistently, especially against Grixis-Control and other resilient blue decks.

Things I'm thinking about:

  • Adding more threats/baddies
  • Adding Ancient Tombs?!
  • Taking out the Dark Rituals
  • Taking out the Mishra's Factories
  • Putting Chalice of the Void into the sideboard to utilize games 2/3 against specific decks
