I built this deck last week and finished second at my FNM win a box tournament yesterday, I went 4-1 (we were 40). I lost in the final 2-1 and had my openent at 2 life and 3 life on my 2 losing games so i came very close at winning the tournament.
What is very important about this deck is that it only cost around 75$ at the moment and I was able to beat the best tier 1 standard deck (bring to light 5c, red green landfall, Dragon control etc...)
This deck is design to win you the game on turn 4 or 5. With 12 one drops you are pretty sure about getting one on your opening hand. In some match up I had 3 one drop on turn 2 with kytheon and flipped kytheon on turn 3, then if you can drop an arashin and get one of your one drop warrior dude double strike you will probably swing for the win on turn 4. The key is simple, swing with everything every turn and remove what you can from their side of the board early to swing for more dmg.
This deck is very consistant and fun to play and your openent won't expect it :).
My sideboard is very important. I have 2 vryn to counter control decks, 2 radiant purge for... mostly rhino lol, and mantis and the dragons... seriously this card is so good and so cheap.2 erase for the counters deck, 3 surge for mono red and black aggro decks, 3 stasis snare in case i need more removal and 3 lantern scout, this card is very important agaisnt miror match up or aggro match up, seriously giving all your dude lifelink when you have 5-6 creatures will garanty you a win on a run.
I tought about including 2 Gideon but at 40$ each one this would double the cost of the deck... But I feel like 2 Gideon would improve the deck (removing 2 kytheon irregular for 2 gideon for example).
Feel free to give me recommandation in how I could imrpove this deck! I think the 3 stasis snare should be replaced, it is the only card i didn't sided in in my 5 games.
