TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

Let's face it, there's something really satisfying about beating a deck that's just trying to race you to their end-game. That feeling of pure awesome when you survive looming Eldrazi spawning from Urza's fortress. The sigh of alleviation as you outrace the poisonious fangs of infect players. Beating those decks is fun, especially when you've beaten them on a budget.

Usually, this deck doesn't win.

But when it does, boy is it fun. This deck's intention is rather evil. Joining the Grand Prix (!), this deck uses various artifact engines(!) to reach maximum velocity, and go infinite.

In order to go infinite, this deck employs various different combos, hopefully fast enough to race some decks. Even when you're not racing, you get to enjoy the moment of realisation as your opponent realises what you're trying to do, and panics...

TYPES OF COMBOS:

MILLING:

Using Grinding Station as the centrepiece, sac an Ornithopter to it with Enduring Renewal down in order to through the 'thopter to hand, and grind your opponent out. Alter of the brood also helps with the 'thopter etbs triggers.

Codex Shredder is also a cool engine when combined with Tidewater Minion and Illusionist's Bracers. The shredder can be replaced with Grindclock to tap and untap your opponent's library, and possibly dignity, away.

LIFEGAIN:

Immortality is only a few taps away, with the help of Judge of Currents. Using this alongside the classic Illusionist's Bracers + Tidewater Minion wombo, tap for infinite life at ease.

Alongside this, we also get to use Enduring Renewal again as an engine to gain all that life. Using it alongside Leonin Elder and Spawning Pit, we can gain a boat load of life to our advantage. Whilst gaining all this life, hopefully we have an Ajani's Pridemate down to gain PT for days!

TOKENS:

Not quite as prominent but simple to achieve, we can also create infinite tokens with the help of Thraben Doomsayer alongside the tapping Tidewater Minion and his Braces in order to create an army of infinite minions, to hopefully then swing with and win with great pride!

So there it is. I welcome C&Cs, and want to update this deck as I go. I'm keeping it budget, because I love the challenge of keeping a financial limit on myself. Personally, I think this deck really suffers from its lack of removal and interaction with the other side of the board. I will test it and let you all know!

Thanks for reading, TheWarbird
