@blargathan I just recently removed Gisela, Blade of Goldnight from the deck since she had a habit of eating removal spells as soon as she hit the board. The deck runs very few creatures and barely has any other targets for targeted creature removal (Zurgo himself rarely gets played himself until it's time to end the game). I'm considering squeezing Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, Sire Of Insanity and/or Heartless Hidetsugu into the deck, and if that is the way the deck develops I will most definately be putting Gisela back as well. She really does wonders when she gets to do her thing.

@Sol_Bling Thanks! I think this is a way more rewarding way to play Zurgo Helmsmasher even though it might not be as obviously powerful. My goal is not to win the game as soon as I can, but too be really annoying to play against while I grind the opposition down. And yeah, I know the oaths are probably sub par and they will probably have to go very soon. I will be testing the deck some more this weekend (with my playgroups grumpy consent) and I wanted to try Oath of Gideon and Oath of Liliana out myself to see their potential first hand but I doubt they will have a place in the deck come monday. Lethal Vapors is allready in the deck and I will make room for Spreading Plague tonight, along with Tainted AEther and Deadly Tempest, but I had not thought of Island Sanctuary and the Humility + Night of Souls' Betrayal combo. They will have to be very seriously considered, thanks!

First mad props for not making it another Voltron deck. Second I think Oath of Jace and Oath of Liliana are very weak cards and you could probably replace them with creature hate instead, and because you're running almost no creatures I highly suggest instead maybe a Humility + Night of Souls' Betrayal combo. Or maybe even a Spreading Plague so they are discouraged from playing creatures, also important to note Spreading Plague does not hurt Zurgo as long as you play him on your turn, same thing with another card I'm a huge fan of in creature-less strategy Lethal Vapors. Island Sanctuary also is a very powerful card as long as you can get some other form of card draw, or if you think you can close out the game with Zurgo.
