Chandra, Flame's Catalyst
Legendary Planeswalker — Chandra
+1: Chandra, Flame's Catalyst deals 3 damage to each opponent.
-2: You may cast target red instant or sorcery card from your graveyard. If that spell would be put into your graveyard this turn, exile it instead.
-8: Discard your hand, then draw seven cards. Until end of turn, you may cast spells from your hand without paying their mana costs.

Brain in a Jar nets you almost no value, with Lightning Strike being the only card that would benefit since you have to pay a mana into it to get the effect. Wild Slash requires a lot of legwork to get the useful part of the effect, which is the unpreventable damage.
Bonecrusher Giant , Skullcrack , and Insult / Injury are better includes than Wild Slash, if only because it's a guaranteed 'damage can't be prevented' effect as well as damage. As for walkers, Chandra, Torch of Defiance would likely do better than Chandra, Flame's Catalyst . Comes out earlier, has a mana ability, and is strong creature spot removal in a pinch. Burning for face is important, but you definitely need to keep your opponent's board state in check at the same time.

Max121212 For Chandra you have some good options too. Chandra, Awakened Inferno is the literal definition of hot woman. However for what you're looking for I'd suggest stuff like Chandra, Acolyte of Flame , Chandra, Bold Pyromancer , Chandra, Flame's Catalyst , Chandra, Novice Pyromancer , Chandra, Pyrogenius , or even Chandra, the Firebrand

Thanks! basically it plays out as 'I drop big things until you run out of removal, then I drop more big things'. I'm slowly making the deck better (at least I hope) by adding some enchantments like Colossal Majesty and Garruk's Uprising, as well I'm filtering out some of the early game cheese damage in favour of a more consistent and potent mid-late with things like Garruk, Unleashed and Chandra, Flame's Catalyst to let me access more and more beef. Gonna miss the turn 4 12/12 hydras but progress must be made!
