Whew, what a terrible night! 1-3, and only 1 because my opponent was a no-show in the fourth round.
Match 1: Living End 0-2
I've never played against Living End before, but I was confident that my deck could out-combo his. I was wrong. Fulminator Mage was a pain in the neck, and he was able to combo off when I had no creatures in the yard. I sided in Dismember and the Sylvan Scryings. The Dismember was a bad play, and I planned to use the scrying for searching up Nexi post-mage. Didn't get to use them.
Match 2: Grixis Delver 1-2
Game 1 was brief. T2 flipped Delver was brutal, and I couldn't recover when he dropped a Tasigur. Boarded in Dismember and Grafdigger's Cage for Snapcaster Mage. Game 2 was better. I took care of his delver and ran to a quick victory. G3 was close. I had him at seven poison counters, and he had a Gurmag Angler and a single card in hand. I had two forests and a Nexus, with Ichorclaw Myr, Vines of Vastwood, and Rancor in hand. I believed he had a lightning bolt, so I had two options. Play Myr and pass, with a forest up, or animate, enchant, and swing for lethal. For whatever reason, I didn't think the first line of play through all the way until afterwards. I animated Nexus, and he bolted it. It was GG. Had I played the Myr, I could have responded to bolt with vines, blocked the angler, then animated, enchanted, and swung, provided he didn't draw into an answer. Lesson learned.
Match 3: Snapcaster Something 0-2
This was an odd deck. Game 1 was a long grind, until he was able to beat me to death. Boarded in Dismember, Cage, and Rancor, to trample over his little ones. He played an early Geist of St. Traft, which I traded for, then he played another, and it was almost all she wrote. I had lethal on the board, but two turns in a row he Cryptic Commanded me, tapping me down. Geist finished the game.
I have updated my list to reflect what I will be running tomorrow in the State Championships. I added a Forest, traded for a heavily-played foil Hierarch, put a blessing in the SB, and added Rancor to the SB, too. I also dropped Defiance by one, with one MB and two SB. I'll be doing some final testing today, but I think that it will serve me better than it did on Friday.
Did I forget to put that? Thanks for reminding me!! :)

Do you ever have problems getting past your opponent's blockers? I run Distortion Strike because my meta is heavy on creatures, and i need a way around them to guarantee poison. Also the +2 damage is nothing to scoff at.

crexalbo, yes, I do sometimes. I currently rely on Apostle's Blessing and Rancor to deal with it. But when I go Simic, I'll definitely be running Defiant Strike! Besides, if I have out Wild Defiance, it just gets sick. Thanks for the suggestion, comment, and taking the time to check it out!

r_type_one - I would, but I don't have any consistent sources as of yet. But I'll definitely add it to the maybeboard! Thanks

No suggestions really, just wanted to say I'm glad other people enjoy infect! Haha I have a commander infect with mimeo as the general. But either way this gets a +1 upvote from me at least! Great job.

Doppelgengar, thanks! I get a lot of hate for it, but I love playing it! Thanks for the +1! Do you have any Infect lists on here?

I'm thinking of taking one Wild Defiance from the mainboard, and only having two in the side board. Thoughts?
