De-tune, re-tune —Sept. 27, 2023
Added: Uncivil Unrest, Scorn-Blade Berserker, Path of Ancestry, Zara, Renegade Recruiter, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Necromantic Selection, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician.
Removed: Cyclonic Rift, Killing Wave, Dack's Duplicate, Zealous Conscripts, Plaguecrafter, Greed, Vivid Creek, and Vigean Graftmage
Added some old-border cards from Brothers' War Commander decks.
Wanted to put the rift in a different deck. Was looking through EDHREC and saw a few upgrades I knew I had in my collection but didn't realize how good they were in Marchesa. A couple of side-grades too. I liked every card I took out, but I also wanted to shake things up a bit.
I really want to find a spot to try out Archpriest of Shadows but I like all my creatures. Maybe remove one Threaten effect? That's the deck's gimmick though. Maybe Puppeteer Clique, but it's really good in Marchesa generally, and stealing from opponents' graveyards is also a bit of a subtheme.
