Yes, I am going to bring this to a modern tournament. I will send an update about that soon.
Contains a good mix of the best modern-legal bears, lead around by a caravan of fight club referees Ulvenwald Tracker. Keep the board clean with pumping up your bear fights and swing to whittle them down.
Creatures:
Ulvenwald Tracker: The fight club referee. Make sure to rig the fights for your bears!
Grizzly Bears: THE 2/2. No exceptions, kiddos. The Russian edition of this card is for true men.
Ashcoat Bear: Better version of grizzlies. Sometimes it's better to hold your mana on turn 2 to bait an attack and then flash this guy in to take out a 1/1.
Alpine Grizzly: Big bear for bringing the pain.
Ulvenwald Bear: Good to play this guy on after combat to grab some free counters.
Druid's Familiar: Brother bear. Probably the best bear creature in magic (as of now, so PLEASE GIVE ME STRONGER BEARS R&D).
Includes a few answers in Naturalize and Slice in Twain. Draw gas is found in the Vanquisher's Banner and Harmonize. All the pump spells synergize well with Wild Defiance. God help your opponents if you have one of those out while you cast Setessan Tactics. Other than that, it is a pretty straight-forward and fun to play deck. Enjoi...

I took this to a local modern tournament FNM and got stomped, as expected. The biggest folly for me was facing faster decks, removal, and not getting the best starting hands. I am going to fix the following:
- Add Runeclaw Bear to replace 2 of the grizzlies, to counter Meddling Mage
- For speed, change Coat of Arms to Obelisk of Urd
- Remove Slice in Twain, it costs a bit much for the effect. Its replacement is undetermined.
- Remove a couple Ulvenwald Bears. Morbid was terribly hard to trigger nad I feel I could increase efficiency by removing a few of them.
- Perhaps add a boardwipe?
- Perhaps add a way to deal with flying creatures? Plummet?
