Pauper Modern has been trampled by a new deck of monsters reaching for the gold. The printing of Writhing Chrysalis paired with the modern legalization of Annoyed Altisaur has launched our Gruulisaurus into viability. This 75 is a veritable cornucopia of keywords topped off by the new new Nyxborn Hydra that provides our haste-like boardstall breaker. Generous Ent and Oliphaunt allow us to run a slim 17 lands while supercharging the quality of Altisaur's cascades. The 3 Jewel Thieves help support our need for red mana and the 1-of Elvish Mystic is my lucky charm to overcome our lack of proper Pauper's Wild Growths. All of our action is at 3 and 4 cmc so it's imperative we hit ramp on turn 1-- 9 slots feels right, and I never side them out.

The sideboard shores up Burn, Storm, Affinity, and Dredge. Current blind spots are enchantments, Tithing Blade, and BLUE.
