I've seen a lot of "pauper" decks that have a price tag of $50 or more, which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. Turns out I've got a lot of cards I never, ever use. And here's a way of mashing them together that can be fun.

This deck is based on a couple principles. The first is using Spire Tracer as a "flyer" and pumping it up with timberwatch elves. The second is to ramp up enough mana between elves and lands to put a bigger item in play. I've seen this produce a round 4 13/13 Spire tracer.

There's a lot of thinning going on here, to get lands out of the deck and onto the battlefield.

Yes, you could add 4 fierce empath and get rid of the tutoring. As someone pointed out to me, fyndhorn elves are basically llanowar elves with a different name. This could have so many 1 drop mana producers that you'll be swimming in it. If that's your cup of tea, go for it.
