Sideboard

I started building this after looking at a few other Vampire builds on this website. A special shout out to olivias-masquerade-3-1-gameday for having such a nice explanations.

This idea is to be a quick aggro/tribal build with the added bonus of mechanisms taking advantage of Madness. Accounting for madness, none of the cards in this deck cost more than 3 mana to cast (although I've found myself in situations where I have to cast Incorrigible Youths for their full cost. Even in these situation their haste often makes them worthwhile).

The primary goal is to get a solid 1-drop and 2-drop before landing either Stensia Masquerade, Drana, Liberator of Malakir or Olivia, Mobilized for War on the third turn. If I can get 3 vamps attacking by turn 4, I'm in good shape to grow some nasty creatures. Without answers, this deck consistently produces over 20 damage by turn 5.

One neat trick is, if you have a Ravenous Bloodseeker and a high value 3-drop in your hand (i.e. Drana, Liberator of Malakir, or Olivia, Mobilized for War) you can hold off on casting it until sometime during your opponent's turn to avoid removal and to have a creature ready to go next turn.

Another cool trick to protect highly targeted creatures: if you have Olivia's Bloodsworn on the field, you can usually give them haste after summoning at the beginning of turn 4.

I've been looking at the mana-curve for this under the assumption that an ideal situation will not have me using any removal until turn 3+. That said, there are some pretty sweet madness combos in the removal section, too. Lightning Axe is a dope combo with Fiery Temper. Lightning Axe is also a great contingency to get out one of the Incorrigible Youths in a situation where you're need madness.

I'd love any thoughts you have! What are some places you might focus on improving this deck? What are some types of decks that it looks to be weak against?
