good deck, but i would add an Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver

Narcilius I had considered Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver but so far didn't add it because it exiles cards instead of mills. Cards like Lazav, Dimir Mastermind and Dimir Doppelganger both take advantage of creatures that get put in the graveyard. That said, Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver could be useful against graveyard decks. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would really put some more graveyard hate in here if you plan to mill. Combo decks are just fueled by putting the right card in someone's graveyard. Scrabbling Claws for example. I like the deck though, lots of flavor.

Thanks papahiggs. I do know what you mean, but it hasn't been a huge problem for me yet. I do have Bojuka Bog, but might also add Nihil Spellbomb or Tormod's Crypt if I find I need them. I appreciate the support.

How did you get that art for Jace to show up?

Friagne I typed "1x Jace Beleren (PSG)" into the deck list without quotation marks and selected foil and Japanese language.

Edskelton Yeah, Eater of the Dead is kinda nuts in a deck like this. The Meta tends to be so creature heavy that you really can often mill out 2-3 players at once if you distribute the milling correctly.... And that's if only 1 of them plays creatures.

Have you put any thought into the Leyline of the Void and Helm of Obedience infinite mill combo? I run it in any deck that can, especially EDH, it's a reliable win con and can target the biggest threat straight out of the game.

Maybe it's just me, but I never see a reason not to carry Archive Trap in a deck that has some sort of mill element. If it's kept in your hand, then the first few turns when people are fetching lands and searching for cards are quite funny, and get cards for Havengul Lich and Mortivore really quickly.

Sorry, didn't realize I hadn't. It's a great deck! Nemesis of Reason is one of my favorite cards of all time, but that's irrelevant to anything.

Lol, I disagree... It's not irrelevant. Favourite cards are important to making a deck your own, or to add a personal touch or flavour.
