Just trying out mono black pauper. It was either this or heavy discard effect with like, Hymn to Tourach. This deck doesnt really work, needs that Drain Life to win. I was considering running red for a cheaper burn spell like Fireball but i like the life gain, since i really get wrecked paying life for draws.

Obviously one well placed counter spell will wreck my face.

Usually hitting the Vault of Whispers is the correct play with Costly Plunder
