Roost of Drakes is a versatile little card. You can pump some mana into it in order to get a 2/2 flyer to go, or just drop it turn one and start reaping free flyers off of every kicker spell you play from then on. And if Talrand, Sky Summoner taught us anything, it's that an army of 2/2 flyers is definitely enough to swing a game!

The thing about kicker is that it doesn't incentivize flickering the way comes-into-play abilities do - after all, you only get the ability if you actually cast (and thus pay for) the card in question. No, to get multiple passes off a kicker ability, you'll need to bounce your creature. So to keep from tempo-stalling yourself to certain doom, try a symmetrical effect like Sunken Hope. Every turn you and your opponent will have to bounce a creature, but you'll be getting a permanent Wind Drake each time. If the creature you're bouncing also has a handy kicker ability, you'll get to reuse that time and again, too!

Tide Shaper is as cheap as kicked cards get, earning you a drake token for two measly mana. Arctic Merfolk is two mana as well and can also reset another one of your creatures for another potential drake token. Stormscape Battlemage can permanently kill off a creature every turn once he starts getting bounced, and Cavern Harpy provides a backup way to keep replaying creatures if you're still waiting on Sunken Hope. Urborg Emissary can exacerbate the bounce piling up on your opponent's side of the board and even send back a land every turn if it's safe to do so. Since you're planning on playing your creatures multiples times, Nightscape Familiar takes some of the sting out by making them cheaper and also is a persistent blocker while you're still trying to set up.
