This is essentially an Izzet tempo deck that has the push of prowess. Enjoy!
As far as the lands go, weve got the Wandering Fumarole for mana fixing, as well as Warped Landscape that not only fetch the basics that are needed, but clear up those two spots from the library, making it more likely to draw spells, which we want to draw, so we can trigger Prowess.
Speaking of Prowess. Clearly, were sitting on a playset of Stormchaser Mage, which are the main reason im not running Expedite. Jhessian Thief proves stronger to me than the new Daring Sleuth, because it comes in play as is, instead of having the limitation of needing to flip it.
Our other creature is the new Thing in the Ice
. This guy is ridiculous. it stays alive from fiery impulse and lots of other burn spells in the format, and when he flips(which is easy to do in this deck) he removes all other threats while swinging in for 7. Additionally, you can use a Titan's Strength to flip him at instant speed and then swing for 10.
Weve got the Harness the Storm because it provides reliable recursion of all of your spells. additionally, if you've got multiple in play, you can stack up your recasting. just imagine casting all four Fiery Impulse at once!
Our counter spells are Void Shatter and Negate, with Dispel in the sideboard to disrupt control decks.
I think theJace, Unraveler of Secrets is fairly self-explanatory. He provides reliable deck manipulation and card draw, as well as bounces creatures, and if he goes off, counters the first spell, forcing your opponents to waste opportunities as well as mana just to cast what they want to cast.
Thanks for any feedback Y'all have to offer! it will all be appreciated!
