YamishiTheWickedOne i see, what matchups are surgical extraction best at?

It's a swiss army knife, I typically use it to hit a removal spell (bolt, path) after they've already hit something. It also lets you see their hand so it helps you scout. But if you have a way to kill their wincon, you can remove other copies from the game, forcing them to regroup and come up with backup strategies. Thing is you have to know what you're aiming at, it's not a card you fire off blindly.

I should add, Liliana, the Last Hope is great to side vs. Infect. She can kill their creatures on your turn while going plus. And her second ability is useful.

I see the value of surgical that has been the biggest problem i have in most tourney (path and other removals). Anyway how many surgical do u suggest to side?

November 21, 2016 7:54 a.m.

2-3 is usually good. 4 is overkill.

Hand disruption is usually aimed at those cards as well.

Hahaah yeah i feel the overkill on 4 surgicals . I see, if i am to insert 3 hand disruptions in my mainboard which ones do u suggest be replaced?

Swap out the Lacerators. The disruptions are your turn 1 plays, aim to remove their creature hate before you play creatures.
