They’re back!!!! Thought I was done with fish when it was flipping between mono, simic, dimir & izzet, but I’m back, deep in it and LOVING this build. An exact mirror of what DB_Nikachu has been playing and having great results.
Lord of Atlantis the OG fish lord returns. Buffs the team and gives islandwalk.
Master of the Pearl Trident our other lord that also gives the team islandwalk.
Glasspool Mimic
copies any creature on the board and doubles as a land if needed.
Mindspring Merfolk our new 1 drop that is better than I thought it would be during preview season. A mini lord as exhaust (can only be used once) gives our fish +1/+1, but the card draw is what makes this card sneaky good.
Floodpits Drowner can be flashed in at anytime to lock down an opposing creature and then kick both back to our libraries.
Silvergill Adept for card draw.
Vodalian Hexcatcher another lord, can be flashed in and protect a creature by sacking another.
Mistcaller a one drop that acts like a removal spell.
Tishana's Tidebinder lets us counter a triggered or activated ability and mutes it until tidebinder leaves the field.
Consign to Memory let’s us counter a triggered ability or colorless spell, multiple times if replicated.
Stern Scolding good early game counter, can be pitched to Force of Negation in the mid to late game.
Sink into Stupor
kicks target spell or nonland permanent to the targets hand, doubles as potential land if needed.
Dismember for removal.
Aether Vial a staple of the build that allows us to play multiple things per turn and get our creatures out without fear of being countered.
Gloomlake Verge gives us access to black, making Dismember less painful.
Cavern of Souls a staple in tribal decks, allows us to cast our creatures without being countered.
Mutavault land that doubles as a creature and gets buffed by our lords.
Otawara, Soaring City land that can also be used to kick a nonland permanent to our opponents hand.
harbinger os the seas turns all non basic lands into lands, making island walk very easy.
