They’re back!!!! Thought I was done with fish when it was flipping between mono, simic, dimir & izzet, but I’m back, deep in it and LOVING this build. An exact mirror of what DB_Nikachu has been playing and having great results.

Harbinger of the Seas is a new beater but not because of it’s power, because it shuts down the opponents non basic lands and makes them islands. Bit of a non-bo as it shuts down cavern & vault, but we have vial for that.
Glasspool Mimic
copies any creature on the board and doubles as a land if needed.
Mindspring Merfolk our new 1 drop that is better than I thought it would be during preview season. A mini lord as exhaust (can only be used once) gives our fish +1/+1, but the card draw is what makes this card sneaky good.
Floodpits Drowner can be flashed in at anytime to lock down an opposing creature and then kick both back to our libraries.
Force of Negation one of our noncreature counters that we can pitch a card to cast rather than paying its cost.
Sink into Stupor
kicks target spell or nonland permanent to the targets hand, doubles as potential land if needed.
Flare of Denial new counter spell that allows us to sac a creature rather than paying its cost.
Dismember for removal.
Aether Vial a staple of the build that allows us to play multiple things per turn and get our creatures out without fear of being countered.
Spreading Seas more stable way to turn an opponents land to an island. Harder to get rid of than Tide Shaper.
Cavern of Souls a staple in tribal decks, allows us to cast our creatures without being countered.
Silvergill Adept for card draw.
Mutavault land that doubles as a creature and gets buffed by our lords.
Otawara, Soaring City land that can also be used to kick a nonland permanent to our opponents hand.
Tishana's Tidebinder lets us counter a triggered or activated ability and mutes it as long as tishana stays on the board.
Tide Shaper to turn a non basic into an island and get a small buff.
Consign to Memory lets us counter a triggered ability or colorless spell, multiple times if it’s replicated.
Stern Scolding good early game creature counter. Can be pitched to Force of Negation in the early mid game.
Vodalian Hexcatcher another lord that can be flashed in allows us to counter by sacking a creature.
