Bastion of Remembrance is another Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat effect that would be good to add. The more the better!

KBK7101 yeah, it’s one I keep adding and removing again. Maybe I ended up leaving it out because I couldn’t recur it, so it felt more risky?

I’ll try playing with it more and see.

Sweet deck

I’m updating the deck constantly trying to push it to be a bit faster and interactive.

Thinking it’s time that Dreadhorde Invasion and Bitterblossom are dropped in favor of more recurral or something that doesn’t take multiple turns to be of value. I wanna drop stuff and go at this point, not slowly grind people out.

Yawgmoth's Will and Phyrexian Altar are obvious includes, but will have to wait due to being prohibitively expensive. I’m working on getting them though.

I really love your recurral and just pure interaction in this deck. This is a great primer. I have seen a few of your other decks, and I must say you are quite a talented magic player :)

Reprocess is a duplicate of your commander on a sorcery

It sure is. Not sure if i need another of those effects after Plumb the Forbidden , which is nice cause it’s instant speed and cheaper. But I will keep it on my radar, for sure. I LOVE that card in my Windgrace deck.

This is an awesome deck!!! But, instead of explaining categories (eg.ramp) in the description, you could do custom organization. Like, you can make a category for ramp, or card draw.

Thanks for the input! I’ve been meaning to rewrite it with categories, bit haven’t had the time. I will definitely do it soon.

Just a quick update:

Dropped Winding Canyons for Demonic Tutor because it didn’t do a whole lot while i combo off. Too many non-creature components to the combos. We’ll stick to emergence zone if we need to try to win on the stack. Been meaning to add demonic tutor anyways, just hadn’t bought one.

Also dropped Buried Alive for Living Death as i really don’t focus that much on reanimation, aside from recurring important pieces mid combo. It felt dead most games. Living death can take a combo turn and completely supercharge it, often time outright winning the game. Can also be fun to draw and discard my entire deck via Skirge Familiar and then slam living death down to wreck a game.

Rewrote everything in categories and with detailed descriptions. Hopefully it’s more informative and easy to read now!

This is an amazing build. Every recommendation that I had coming into this is either already in the deck or on your maybe board. At first, I was wondering why it wasn’t simply a Yawgmoth, Thran Physician deck but after reading the description, I totally see why. Love it. Definitely a +1 from me! Thanks alechodgin23! It really could, maybe even should, be headed by Yawgmoth, but it’s part of my quest to create a deck for each god-eternal (and hazoret who never got eternalized). It was my goal when i first started playing EDH, and now i just keep honing them.

I’d love to check out your deck. I took a lot of inspiration from various mono black decks, but mostly Yawgmoth.

Have you considered Ghoulcaller Gisa as a sac outlet and token generator for Bontu?

MTGS_Astrolabe I have, and used to run her actually, and she’s alright. Just a lot of mana and time for a tap ability, can’t really combo off with her much so she got cut as the deck got more degenerate.
