Said on Dime-store Derevi (Competitive, …...
#1DaigarStrasis, do you ever wonder what factors the ‘competitive meter’ looks at to even make that determination, or do you just blindly follow? LMFAO
I think we all know the answer that that :)
I built another Derevi deck—- a $6k Derevi stasis deck—-that according to the competitive meter is 95% competitive. (It also ranked #1 cEDH deck here on tappedout at one point.) This budget cEDH deck wins in the competitive meta more consistently than THAT ONE does.
It doesn’t have the explosive turn 2-3 wins we hope gore but it sure makes sure no other players get that either Lol.
Obviously there are concessions based on budget—but it’s far more synergistic than most cEDH decks which generally include the same auto-includes based on color. Also worth nothing that it is designed to cripple most auto-includes and popular cEDH commanders.
It’s oppressive.
Yes, it could be upgraded and even better. But I prefer not. I’d rather crush your unoriginal $10k deck with $100 worth of trash.
