I think Nether Spirit and Tombstalker are problematic together as they anti-synergize. You may use delve to remove additional Nether Spirit from graveyard but I found this combo to be risky when you end up with both in the graveyard. I'd say you either you go creatures in general or you stick to 1-3 Nether Spirit and use artifact creatures from lands like Mishra's Factory or Chimeric Idol.

There is Chimeric Idol , Shell of the Last Kappa , Tortoise Formation , and Pattern of Rebirth which just shows a Turtle. And I was thinking if others would be ok with it, you could use Living Wish to grab Yidaro, Wandering Monster so you can have all the turtles.

Mairsil is so cool! Spark Double , Sakashima the Impostor , and Helm of the Host could be fun here. Caging Chimeric Idol and Master Transmuter would let you reuse all abilities for each spent.

When a creature stops being a creature all equipment will "fall off" (not legal targets) and many auras will also die.

But what happens with the likes of the old PROTO-equipment such as Spirit Shield and Endoskeleton?

If the target is a Warden of the Wall , Chimeric Idol or a Chimeric Sphere what is the reason it would work or fail? Can it "remember" a legal target?

No.

Once an ability's effect is on the stack, it exists independently from its source.

If you activate Chimeric Idol's ability, the effect will go on the stack (under your control!). If you give the Idol to your opponent in response, you will still control the effect on the stack, because it's independent from the Idol. When the effect resolves, you will have to tap all your lands and your opponent will have an animated Idol with summoning sickness.

If I activate Chimeric Idol and then in response hold priority and activate Zedruu the Greathearted to give the idol to an opponent does the Chimeric Idol tap my lands or that opponent's?

Furthermore are there any isntances where I would need to hold priority other than if I suspect my opponent has Trickbind? Even in that case they can just stifle Zedruu the Greathearteds ability so it's not the best play for me to make, but I'm curious.

From what I understand the Chimeric Idol will check for ownership on resolution resulting in my opponent's tapping down their lands. This will be a great strategy to use with my Winter Orb > : )
